On Tuesday, September 27, elected officials and staff from the City of Yale and staff from the Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority (OMPA), met with Senator-elect Tom Dugger (District 21) over lunch in Yale. The purpose of this meeting was to educate the Senator elect on the history of OMPA and the unique role we play with our member cities.
The Senator-elect, city staff and OMPA had in depth discussions regarding issues facing OMPA and our member cities, as well as our outlook on the future.
Those in attendance were: Senator-elect Tom Dugger, District 21; Phillip Kelly, City of Yale Police Chief and Interim City Manager; Tom Mendenhall, City of Yale Commissioner; Deanna Couch, City of Yale Clerk and Tom Hurst, City of Yale Electric Superintendent; David Osburn, OMPA General Manager, Randy Elliott, OMPA General Counsel and Jennifer Rogers, OMPA Government Relations Rep.
