OMPA member city elected officials and staff meet with Senator and Representatives

On Friday, October 14, elected officials and staff from the City of Tecumseh and the City of Prague, along with staff from the Oklahoma

Municipal Power Authority (OMPA), met with Senator Jason Smalley (District 28), Representative Josh Cockroft (District 27) and Representative Kevin Wallace (District 32) over lunch in Tecumseh. The purpose of this meeting was to continue to educate the legislators on the history of OMPA and the unique role we play with our member cities.

The legislators, city staff and OMPA had in depth discussions regarding issues facing OMPA and our member cities, as well as our outlook on the future.

Those in attendance were: Senator Jason Smalley, District 28; Representative Josh Cockroft, District 27; Representative Kevin Wallace, District 32, Jimmy Stokes, Tecumseh City Manager; Eddy Parker, Tecumseh Mayor; John Collier, Tecumseh City Councilmember; Sharon Stewart, Tecumseh City Councilmember; Cathy Condit, Tecumseh City Clerk, Jim Greff, Prague City Manager; Randy Elliott, OMPA General Counsel, Drake Rice, OMPA Director of Member Services and Jennifer Rogers, OMPA Government Relations Rep.
