City Of Wetumka To Experience Brief Outage On May 12
The date that transmission service to Wetumka will be interrupted has been changed from Monday, May 10th to Wednesday, May 12th. The outage will occur shortly after midnight on Wednesday, May 12th to switch transmission service to the city due to transmission line rerouting caused by bridge construction in this area. The interruption should only last 5 to 10 minutes.
“We appreciate the cooperation of the citizens of Wetumka during the outage. Please note that the date for the outage has been changed. Be advised that your clocks could be flashing in the morning,” said Joey Beth Smith, City Manager.
